Changing delivery options for a single Alert

In addition to setting the default values for your Alerts, you can change how any single Alert is to be delivered (or Not Delivered)

1. Click on Alert icon to open Pop-up for modifying alerts

You can access this icon from Viewers, Previews, or in your Alert Subscription grid

2. Click the envelope icon to access the options in drop-down lists

3. Specify 'When'  you are to receive this alert

The three delivery options are: 

  • Bundle all new alerts into one email digest. You can adjust how often your Alert Digest is generated when Setting up Your Alert Subscriptions
  • Receive the alert as soon as it is generated - immediately
  • Select to receive any notifications only via displaying them on the respective tile on the Homepage - browser only (an example is shown at the screen above).

Specify whether the alert should be sent via your email address, as Phone Alert or via SMS or MMS to your address.

Phone Alert option is only available if you login to Metric Insights via a phone app via Apple or Android mobile device.

4. Specify 'How often' you want to be Alerted

  • You can select first time only to prevent Alerts being generated when the alert condition happens more than once in a row (If Daily Metric has a Red Alert everyday, you will only receive one Alert email until at least one day does not trigger a Red Alert)
  • Receive Alerts every time the alert condition is satisfied
  • When alert persists
