Determine the Elements that a User Can Access

The User Editor contains the details of all Elements to which the User has access, either through inheritance from Group Access to membership or via Direct Assignment.  This allows Administrators to add or remove access as appropriate.

NOTE: The format of the User Editor is slightly different for versions prior to 5.0

1. Admin menu > Users

To select the User from the list, click the User Name

User Editor opens

2. Review the list of elements available for a User access

  1. Open the Elements tab
  2. Scroll down to review the Comprehensive Element Access grid

3. Adding more elements a User can access

Access to additional elements can be provided by:

  1. Adding access to element Categories combining certain elements
  2. Adding access to individual elements
