How to suppress / schedule alerts for all Users (Release 3.2)

Here is an easy way to suppress alerts for all users on a go-forward basis, meaning that it applies to users created after the suppression rule is created. Existing users would need to be configured independently.

1. Access the Email Notifications Template from the Admin menu

2. We will use the User Defaults as our example

Rules for Administrator are set in the same manner but Metric Insights allows different sets of defaults to be assigned.

In this example, we have set the defaults for each new User to receive::

  1. A separate Daily Favorites Digests for each Favorites folder
  2. A daily Collaborative Notification of all comments made on any elements in his Favorite folders(s)

3. Now we can add Suppression Rule defaults

4. Add Suppression rules from pop-up

These rules will be defaulted for all new users added to the system. If the user has the correct privileges he can change, remove or add to these rules.

This example will suppress Favorites, Notifications and all types of Alerts for the entire weekend
