Logging In To Different User's Account

To quickly solve any issues Regular Users and Power Users may have faced, Administrators have to make sure they can reproduce the problem and debug it. For this purpose, Administrators can log in as ANY User created in the system and find/fix issues occurred in User account.

If Power User has the Privilege "Login as Regular User Group Members to review content", they can actually access the User Editor for Regular Users from an abbreviated User List Page. See this related Security article for more information.

1. Open Users List

Access Admin > Users & Groups > Users tab

Find the row of the required User in the list and click the log in icon.

1.1. Logging In From User Editor

Click the User's Active Name link to open the User Editor.

On the Info tab of the Editor find and click [Login as this User].

2. Confirm Action

Click [Login as <Username>].

3. Log In

This is how the other User's account looks like.

Now you can access the system in the exact same way the selected User does (with their Privileges and Permissions applied).

After "testing" access as this User, select Return to <Username> session from the Personal menu. You will return to list of Users.
