As of 7.2.1 version, Concierge becomes more versatile and useful for different tasks within Metric Insights. Conversation Analytic features allows the User to not only search information using Concierge, but also query it about the values of the Custom App page, ask it to analyze and create Datasets and summarize Report data.
Concierge-Sourced Datasets
A new Concierge-sourced Dataset type lets Administrators configure a Dataset that is populated by Concierge rather than a traditional data fetch. Concierge uses a configurable instruction set, can reference other Datasets for context, and can connect to external Data Sources via MCP servers. The Dataset created this way is then refreshed and cached on the standard schedule.

New Report Component — AI Analytics
This is a new component available in Dataset Reports that automatically generates AI-produced analysis after each data refresh. Results are displayed in an "AI Analysis" section, and each insight includes a reasoning trace so Users can follow how the conclusion was reached. This feature will be especially useful for Bursts as it allows to create short summaries and highlight the most important information to the Burst receivers.

Talk to Your Custom App
This feature allows you to ask Concierge about the values that are presented on the Custom App page. When it is enabled, Concierge can receive context from the Custom App, to understand what value you chose and analyze it. It can then answer your questions about that value, compare it to other values and give explanations about the data.

Talk to Your Data for Tableau and Power BI (Beta Feature)
Users can now ask Concierge questions about the data in a Tableau or Power BI External Reports. Concierge uses the report's Dataset as context to answer natural language questions, making it possible to explore and interrogate data directly without leaving the Report.
