This article outlines the MySQL versions supported by the Metric Insights application. For MI versions supporting multiple MySQL versions, only one undergoes the full testing cycle, while other versions are validated through basic autotests. This information is highlighted in the tables below.

NOTE: Regression testing is performed only on MySQL Long-Term Support (LTS) versions, not the latest available MySQL release. This approach ensures compatibility across major cloud providers, where supported MySQL versions can vary; e.g., between AWS, Azure, and GCP. Therefore, regression testing is never performed against the latest MySQL release.
The following legend applies to all tables in this article:
