IBM Cognos Plugin supports pulling the following object types:

• Report
• Query
• View

The scope of the collected objects can be controlled by the Objects to collect Optional Parameter.

By getting data in Metric Insights we mean the ability to create Datasets. IBM Cognos Plugin supports creating Datasets from all types of objects.

The Plugin supports pulling Filters from all types of IBM Cognos objects to Metric Insights. Filters and Values can be added only individually. Users can apply Filters to External Reports and customize their display depending on input. 

IBM Cognos Plugin supports getting both images and PDFs for all types of objects.

IBM Cognos External Report can be embedded into the application (Show "In iFrame") or other HTML pages by using embed codes.

IBM Cognos Plugin does not support OAuth 2.0.

IBM Cognos content can be synchronized with Metric Insights to automatically create new External Reports from IBM Cognos objects and simplify the process of updating existing External Reports.

Metric Insights does not capture metadata for IBM Cognos Plugin.
