A Public App is a Portal Page accessible without authentication — no login required.
Configured via the Public App toggle on an App's Advanced tab (off by default), it's useful for exposing content to external audiences.
Access to enable or disable this feature requires the "Enable/Disable Public Apps" Power User Privilege, which sits under the "Create/Edit Apps" Privilege.
