Create External Content from R Shiny

This article describes how to create External Content from R Shiny applications.

1. Create New External Content

Access New > External Content

  1. Enter a Name for your External Content
  2. External Content Type: "R Shiny"
  3. Choose a Category where the External Content will be placed
  4. External Content URL: enter the URL of an R Shiny application
  5. Show in: specify whether to show the External Content in Viewer on in External Webpage
  6. [Next: Define Details]

2. Configure External Content

  1. If External Content is displayed in Viewer:
    • Specify, whether it will be displayed as an Uploaded Image, or in External web page (in an iFrame)
      • If External Content is displayed in External web page, specify Viewer Size
  2. Toggle on Show Collaboration to enable comments
  3. Click [Upload Image File] to upload a Reference Image that will be used as tile thumbnail
  4. Click [View], this will also save your entries

3. View External Content
