Bursting to a Slack Channel

As of Release 5.5, sending a Burst to a Slack Channel requires only a few simple steps. Selecting a target Slack channel, a set of elements and a schedule can now be done directly from the Burst Editor by simply enabling the corresponding option.

  1. Build a Slack App
  2. Connect Slack App to Metric Insights

For more information on creating Bursts, refer to Create New Burst (Version 5.1.2 and beyond)

If you have not yet updated to v5.5, you can find procedures for prior versions here Bursting to a Slack Channel (prior to 5.5)
