Using Concierge in Microsoft Teams

Concierge is an AI-powered chatbot integrated into Metric Insights, designed to assist Users with search tasks and answering questions about its functionality. Users can ask direct questions about Metric Insights and receive concise answers along with links to more detailed help documents, or search for different Elements and get them in the form of tiles.

From the 7.0.1 release, the Concierge service is available in the MS Teams chatbot. This article describes the functionalities of the answer tile.

Types of Concierge Answers

The answers Concierge provides while answering the questions can be divided into two types:

  • Description Answers: Those describing Metric Insights functionality and what are its Elements and Objects
  • Search Result Answers: Are given in the form of lists containing links to Elements or Objects of the MI instance

Description Answers

These are the answers Users receive when asking questions about the Metric Insights itself. They generally start with "what is" or "how to". The result contains a short description and some links for the User to check more detailed articles if needed.

Search Result Answers

When the User makes a query that starts with "search", "show" or "find", Concierge provides her with a list of items.

After analyzing the request, Concierge shows the User 5 results.

  1. Elements in the List have a description that includes the Custom Fields information if one is provided for the Element
  2. After clicking [Preview], the User receives a more detailed card of the Element
  3. Here the user can see how many results the Concierge found
  4. Click [Show more] and Concierge will send another five results
